摘要:

采用O-C方法分析澳大利亚帕克斯64 m射电望远镜对脉冲星PSR J1541-5535在2007年7月至2014年3月间的计时观测数据,其残差呈现出明显的自行特征。将数据分为两段,计算得到的Δ8值很大,表明该星有很强的时间噪声。故采用Cholesky方法,利用脉冲星计时软件TEMPO2拟合得到 PSR J1541-5535的自行角速度为17.72(3) mas·yr-1。这是通过脉冲星计时方法第一次测量PSR J1541-5535的自行。与其他脉冲星的自行相比,该星的自行速度高于60%已知脉冲星自行。同时通过全新的电子密度模型估计该星的距离,求得其横向速度为433.4(173) km·s-1

Abstract:

Timing observations of PSR J1541-5535 from July of 2007 to March of 2014 has been carried out by using Parkes 64 m radio telescope in Australia.Timing residuals characteristic analyzed by O-C method suggests that this pulsar have a significant exhibition of proper motion.Meanwhile,the data is divided into two segments to calculate the Δ8 values,which are indicator of strong timing noise.Hence,Cholesky method and timing software TEMPO2 are employed to determine the value of proper motion.Proper motion of PSR J1541-5535 is caculated for the first time,which gives the value of 17.72(3)mas·yr-1.Compared with other pulsars,its proper motion velocity exceeds that of 60% known pulsars.Meanwhile,the distance to PSR J1541-5535 is calculated by the latest electronic density model and its transverse velocity is found to be 433.4(173) km·s-1.
