摘要:

叶片化学计量特征能够反映植物对生境的响应和适应,然而目前对雌雄异株濒危植物的化学计量特征的研究关注较少。本研究以国家Ⅱ级重点保护野生植物——连香树Cercidiphyllum japonicum为研究对象,比较了四川美姑大风顶自然保护区内龙窝保护站的天然连香树成年雌雄植株的数量及其叶片C、N、P化学计量特征随叶龄的变化,为探讨连香树的濒危机制提供参考。结果表明:该地连香树种群显著偏雄(雌/雄=0.48;χ2=4.46,P=0.035);与全球陆生植物叶片相比,该地连香树成熟叶片P含量的平均值更高,而N含量以及C∶N、C∶P、N∶P的平均值相近;随叶龄的增大,连香树叶片C含量、C∶N、C∶P、N∶P和C∶N∶P逐渐升高,而N和P含量逐渐降低;雄株成熟叶片N和P含量显著高于雌株,而C∶N、C∶P、C∶N∶P均显著低于雌株;雌株幼叶片N或P含量与大多数化学计量指标的相关性要强于雄株,而成熟叶片和衰老叶片的这些相关性要弱于雄株。这些结果表明,该地区连香树叶片C、N、P化学计量特征已经呈现出一定的性别二态性,这可能导致了其种群的性别偏倚,进而与其物种濒危有关。建议未来在探讨雌雄异株植物的濒危机制中应该考虑性别因素。

Abstract:

Although stoichiometric characteristics of leaves reflect the adaptation of plants to habitats,few studies have paid attention to the stoichiometric characteristics of endangered dioecious plants.Taking Cercidiphyllum japonicum (a class Ⅱ protected species in China) as the research object,this paper establishes a basis of studying C. japonicum's mechanism of endangerment by comparing differences in the number and age-related stoichiometry characteristics of carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus in the leaf of adult C. japonicum at Longwo protection station of Meigu Dafengding National Natural Reserves in Sichuan.It is found that the sex ratio is male-based (females/males is 0.48;χ2 =4.46,P=0.035);compared with other land plants leaves,its mean content of P is obviously higher,but the mean contents of N,C∶N,C∶P and N∶P are similar;as the age of leaf increases,the contents of C,C∶N,C∶P,N∶P and C∶N∶P gradually increase but the contents of N and P gradually decrease;the contents of N and P in mature male leaf are higher than that of female leaf,but lower in C∶N,C∶P and C∶N∶P;the correlations between the contents of N or P and most of the stoichiometric traits in young female leaf is stronger than that in male leaf,but the correlations in mature and senescent female leaves are weaker.These results indicate the existence of sexual dimorphism in stoichiometry characteristics of carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus in the leaf of C. japonicum of this area,which may lead to its sex ratio bias and endangerment.It is suggested that gender factor should be taken into consideration in the future study of dioecious plants mechanism of endangerment.
